WSCA Chapter Program
WSCA Chapters are neighborhood-based groups working together at a grass roots level to spread the word about WSCA, and its mission, among neighbors. If we are to support the positive direction of our school system, it will take all of us working together now and in the months to come.
To that end, it is our goal to establish chapters in all neighborhoods throughout Wake County.
Currently, the primary role of the chapters is to increase awareness about school-related issues and to help raise the level of the conversation.

If there is already an established chapter in your neighborhood, please email the chapter leader at the email address above to get involved. If your neighborhood does not currently have a chapter and you are willing to serve as the chapter leader for your community, please email wsca09@gmail.com. Chapter leader responsibilities are not time intensive, but are critical to success. They include:
- Organize gatherings for chapter members to share issues and needs of the community with the WSCA steering team, and ultimately the candidates.
- Increase WSCA awareness and membership within your community
- Maintain roster of chapter members
- Periodically distribute WSCA communications and calls to action to chapter members
The success of our schools will be determined by the level of citizen involvement and commitment, now and in the months to come. The results for the children of Wake County will be immeasurable.
"There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when circumstance permit. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results."
